Our Trip To The Zoo

We were supposed to have an inservice today, but the district was nice enough to give us the day off for all of the work we did in the summer. So, we decided to head to Topeka to pick up some school supplies and take the kids to the school. It was their first time at a zoo, and they had a pretty good time.


Mackenzie thought it would be pretty cool to be the one pulling Jace. That lasted about 5 minutes.


Mackenzie was pretty brave making faces at the lions. My guess is she wouldn't be so brave if that window wasn't there!


Jace thought the orangutang was hilarious!
